Yes! Kids in the 50’s and early 60’s were taught respect and manners. I say early 60’s because when the Vietnam war broke out, attitudes changed for many adults and that’s when we started falling apart. So sad many of today’s kids have no clue what respect and manners are.
Most definitely , children were disaplined properly. Nowadays children get away with alot more. We as parents can’t spank our kids on the behind or diapline them like our parents did without CAS getting involved and possibly have our kids removed from the home .
